We live many lives
Some in search of something
Some running away from something else
And some trying to be something
We think we should be
But, it is when we let go
Of the search
The run
And the attempt
Where life actually begins again
ENCORE
Another chance
Another performance
Although this time,
It’s a chance to learn
From all of the experiences
That brought us
To where we are today
And when we tap back into
Our essence of being
From back before we 'knew better'
We find the value
That has been there all along
